Willow Court care home in Lincoln is celebrating after Colleagues at the home were presented awards for their commitment to providing kind care.
Three members of staff were presented with the awards and were all cheered on as they were handed their certificates.
Christine, a Catering Assistant at Willow Court, was nominated for her award as she is always welcoming and smiling. Tia was recognised for her compassionate, patient and kind nature when caring for the Residents, while Kayleigh was rewarded for always being positive and happy.
One Resident commented: “How lovely. They are such a happy, positive bunch so the awards are certainly well-deserved.”
The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013. It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones. Month on month, record breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.
Jo Keenan, Home Manager at Willow Court, said: “I am so proud of Christine, Tia and Kayleigh. They always go above and beyond for our Residents, and they do it because they want to see the smiles on their faces. These ladies are exactly what HC-One is all about.”
