Residents at HC-One’s The Willows care home in Hinckley have been making their own cards to send to their new friends at a local primary school.
Over the Christmas period, local schoolchildren sent thoughtful cards to the Residents at the home.
Now the Residents have sent their thank you cards, to show their appreciation to the children for thinking of them during difficult times.
Pauline, a Resident at the home, commented: “I hope the children like them.”
Residents worked hard to make beautiful flowery cards that would brighten up the cold month of February.
The Willows Home Manager, Anna Nowak, said: “I was thrilled to see our Residents joining in and making these lovely cards.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with local communities during these difficult times. I hope the children will enjoy receiving them.”
