Leicester care home opens doors to local communityHC-One’s Harley Grange Care Home in Leicester opened its doors and welcomed visitors to their coffee morning on Monday 2nd April.

Volunteers from local charity Learning for the Fourth Age and Residents from neighbouring care home Ashlands visited Harley Grange for a fun afternoon.

Everyone socialised and enjoyed a slice of cake or two. A great time was had by all, especially the Residents at Harley Grange who said it was lovely to meet new people and share stories. 

Learning for the Fourth Age is a charity that offers learning opportunities to older people in need of care or support, primarily in Leicester and Leicestershire.

All of the visitors gave great feedback on their experience at Harley Grange, with one visitor commenting that they wanted to move in.
