Leeds care home Residents travel the world with virtual realityResidents at Sabourn Court care home in Leeds saw beautiful sites from around the world with the help of a virtual reality company.

A virtual reality company visited Sabourn Court after researching the positive impact that VR can have on the lives of people living in care homes. Residents were given the opportunity to visit a variety of destinations around the globe including, Venice, Paris and the Sahara all from the comfort of their chair. 

The experience was enjoyed by all, Residents became very animated when using the VR headset and for some it brought back happy memories of travelling and visiting different countries when they were younger. 

One Resident commented: "I can't believe how amazing modern technology is and the amazing things that it allowed me to see, I feel like I've travelled the world"
