Residents at HC One’s Sabourn Court spent the afternoon baking cupcakes today.
Colleagues decided it would be fun for the Leeds care home Residents to spend some time baking.
Residents mixed the flour, added the sugar etc. and created their very own cupcake mix before they went off into the oven to bake.
After the cakes had cooled down, the Residents then got to ice and decorate them how they wanted.
Of course the next part, which is always the best, was to give them a taste! The Residents were pleased with their tasty creations and had a lovely day.
One Resident commented “I really enjoyed making the buns, it just brought back memories of when I used to bake them for my sons.”
