Georgina Rourke, a Resident at HC One’s Colton Lodges care home, took part in a remembering together discussion today.
During the remembering together discussion at the Leeds care home, wellbeing coordinator Dawn McDwan, carer Jane Priest and Resident Georgina, had a lovely time talking.
Georgina spoke happily about her theatre career, she remembered the days that she was in the production of OKLAHOMA!, at the Drury Lane in London.
Georgina lived again through the conversation, discussing all the beautiful time she spent with her friends. She said she was also in a play with Lauren Bacal called ‘The Applause’.
Georgina added “I have some funny stories that happened that I can't possibly repeat!”
Georgina still has a beautiful dress that was created by a professional dress maker especially for her, and she wore the dress in a first night theatre party. Georgina showed the staff her beautiful evening dress which was kept in a lovely box.
Janice said “Georgina has led such an interesting life, it was wonderful to listen to her stories.”
Georgina commented “I may be able to put on a show when this pandemic is over!”
