Residents at HC-One’s Roseberry Court Care Home in Redcar, Cleveland put their creative foot forward last week when decorating an array of cupcakes.
Once everyone had picked out their decorations and icing colour of choice, they enjoyed a chat over refreshments before getting stuck in.
Most of the cakes only managed to get half decorated before Resident’s decided that they looked and smelt too good, they just had to be eaten!
Everyone was in fits of laughter as they all joined in with the fun of eating their cakes, commenting:
“Well, we’ll just have to choose another cake to decorate.”
But these didn’t last long either, with Residents tucking into them half way through decorating.
Eventually they had to stop decorating as everyone was laughing so much, they couldn’t possibly carry on.
Resident Jim Kirk commented:
“These cakes are too nice just to look at; I just had to eat mine!”
Resident Peggy Cheun commented:
“I haven’t laughed that much in ages! It was so funny seeing Jim with all that icing around his lips.”
