As part of HC-One’s commitment to learning and development, colleagues regularly attend training courses in pursuit of professional excellence and to support them in providing the kindest possible care.
One such group of managers have recently completed our latest ‘Leading Together as One’ programme. The managers (pictured having received their certificates from Regional Director, Liam Jennings) came from Wales, Midlands and the South to take part in the programme, which was held predominantly at Cedar Court in Wigston, Leicestershire.
The ‘Leading Together as One’ programme is a leadership development programme for Care Home managers that has been developed in collaboration with My Home Life. The programme, which has now been running for two years, has seen almost 60 managers taking part. It supports managers to explore relationship-centred care and enables them to develop improvements in the care home resulting in sustainable kind care for Residents and a positive collaborative working environment for colleagues.
