It’s the start of the festivities for Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s
Meadow Bank residential, nursing and nursing memory care home, in Preston, with an elf themed day and some creative Christmas card making.
Staff and Residents on Ribble House unit enjoyed an afternoon filled with Christmas Crafts. They made decorations and cards to send to family and friends whilst listening to Christmas songs to help get the Christmas spirit started!
One of the Residents said, “It’s nice to start feeling festive.”
Also, Colleagues at Meadow Bank dressed up in elf costumes and t-shirts to celebrate ‘Elf Day’ and raise money for the Alzheimer’s society. They even received a surprise visit from the Grinch himself!
Clinical Services Manager, Linda Thompson, said, “It's lovely to make a start on the festive season and brighten the units up with lights and decorations, as well as seeing the staff get involved and raising money.”
