Lancashire care home enjoy Easter celebrationsResidents and Colleagues at Bankhouse enjoyed a weekend of Easter fun recently as they held a small party for Residents and Relatives to enjoy.

Everyone was able to enjoy a variety of treats such as chocolates and cakes, alongside hot refreshments. Some even opted to have a small tipple of prosecco, wine or beer to celebrate the occasion.

Of course, no Easter party is complete without a visit from the Easter bunny, who was a popular hit with everyone, especially the children. The home also held a chocolate raffle as well as a game to guess how many chocolates were in the jar, which one of the Residents was delighted to have won.

One Resident commented: “What a fabulous afternoon we have had, and we were even able to see the Easter bunny which was wonderful. It was lovely to see the children enjoying themselves, what more could you ask for?”

David Kershaw, Wellbeing Co-Ordinator, also remarked: “It was really nice to see everyone enjoying their Easter with friends and family. It was lovely to have everyone join in with the fun!”
