Residents on the Lakeside community unit enjoyed a basketball session organised by Colleagues at Callands care home in Cheshire.
The activity took place wither in the lounge area or for those who couldn’t take part, the activity was transported to rooms and Residents had a go at trying to bounce and throw the ball through the net… which was a lot harder than it looks!
Residents, including Alan, Brandon, Sue and Eileen, loved that the ball was so bouncy and were quite surprised at how much fun it was. They found it hilarious that the legs of the basketball net kept falling off… think they will need a new one!
Home Manager, Catherine Bezer, said, “What a whole load of fun we can have with just a ball and a hoop. The afternoon was full of laughs and everyone really enjoyed it!”
