HC-One’s Oaklands Care Home recently welcomed new furry friends in the form of kittens Demi and Digi, with Resident May especially enjoying spending time with the pets.
May loves animals and states how she grew up owning various pets and because of this, Demi and Digi make her feel even more at home. She especially likes to sit with the animals while she enjoys a cup of tea, stroking the kittens as they lay on her lap.
Each Resident has taken a liking to the animals as they’ve welcomed them with open arms, and find enjoyment in watching the kittens run around and play together.
Stephanie Massey, Home Manager, commented: “It is fantastic to have the new kittens in our home, the Residents are so pleased. I can clearly see a blossoming friendship building between May and Demi the kitten, and it’s lovely to witness.”
