Today Residents and Colleagues at Merseyside care home, Ash Court, celebrated Elf Day.
Elf Day, which supports Alzheimer’s United Against Dementia, meant that Colleagues and Residents went the extra mile and dressed as elves for the special event.
Christmas music was played and everyone had a festive sing-along which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Residents also enjoyed capturing the memories on camera and all posed for an 'Elfie"
Residents thought it was a great opportunity to get dressed up and have a lot of spontaneous fun as well as lots of laughter. One described the day as, “Fantastic fun!”
Home Manager, Laura Mosedale, said, “Great comradery between Residents and staff. Residents enjoyed staff participating with dancing and singing. Elf day was fun!”
