A Resident, Francis, at HC-One’s Carrington Court care home who used to regularly knit, decided to begin the hobby again as she wanted to help other Residents learn to knit.
The home began a knitting circle as everyone sat together and tried their hand at knitting, with some Colleagues also joining in the activity during the weekly knitting club.
Francis enjoyed teaching others how to knit, stating that she would next like to have a go at crocheting.
One Resident enjoyed it so much, they said: “It’s great to begin knitting, what a wonderful idea this has been for us to do each week.”
