Knitting club helping good cause at Chippenham care homeResidents at HC One’s Avon Court care home have spent time in their knitting club today.

A number of the Residents at the Chippenham care home love to knit, so the staff decided to create a knitting club.

Resident Vera came up with the idea of knitting squares to make some blankets, as she had an idea to raise some money for a cancer charity and wanted to raffle them off.

The knitting club has gone down very well amongst the Resident, and some of the staff have even got involved with it too.

The Residents really enjoy the fact they are doing something for a good cause, especially during these difficult times.
