Kirkcaldy care home Residents visit Culloden BattlefieldFour Residents from HC-One’s Chapel Level care home in Kirkcaldy, Fife had their wish to visit the Culloden Battlefield come true on Thursday 15th August.

The gentlemen headed on a 300 mile round trip to Inverness to the site of the last battle of Jacobite Rising, Culloden Battlefield. Everyone was very excited as they travelled through the picturesque Cairngorms and talked about what they most excited to see when they got to Culloden.

The group were accompanied by volunteer driver Robert Moore, Alana and Jackie from Chapel Level and Marion, who works at neighbouring HC-One care home, Woodside Court.

Everyone was amazed to see the battlefield and learn all about its history, Residents asked lots of questions and shared their thoughts on the historical landmark. A great time was had by all, the gentlemen were grateful for the opportunity to get to see the battlefield and thanked the team for organising the trip when they arrived back to Chapel Level.
