HC-One’s Kirkby House care home in Kirkby, Knowsley celebrated the patron saint of Ireland last week.
St Patrick’s Day marks the passing of St Patrick, a 4th century priest who took Christianity to Ireland. Every year thousands of people worldwide celebrate the day by wearing green and enjoying an Irish tipple.
Residents, Relatives and members of the care team came together for some Irish celebrations, with themed cupcakes and drinks. Everyone shared stories of how they have celebrated the in the past and holidays they have had to Ireland.
