Kingswood care home Colleague awarded for kind careA Colleague at HC-One’s Kesteven Grange care home in Kingswood, Hull was delighted to receive an award for her kind care towards Residents living at the home.

Trish Devine, Head Housekeeper at Kesteven Grange, was delighted to receive a Kindness in Care Award following constant praise from Residents, their loved ones and her fellow Colleagues over the past few months.

Launched in 2013, HC-One’s Kindness in Care Awards programme recognises the efforts of the company’s kindest Colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones.

After joining Kesteven Grange as a Care Assistant in 2015, Trish decided this year to change to the housekeeping team, where she ensures that living areas and Residents’ personal spaces are maintained and cleaned to the highest standard possible.

Since taking on her new role, those living at and visiting Kesteven Grange have provided excellent feedback on the housekeeping at the home, with Residents commenting on how much of a pleasure it is to have their room cleaned by someone with such a positive and caring attitude.

Kellie Moore, Home Manager at Kesteven Grange, presented Trish with her award certificate, which recognised her fantastic commitment to providing kind care.

Trish said: “I am overjoyed to be receiving this award as it represents my hard work and the positive difference I have made to Residents’ lives at Kesteven Grange. Thank you so much to everyone who nominated me.”

Kellie said: “At HC-One, we are committed to providing the kindest possible care to our Residents and this is exactly what Trish does, as she always goes the extra mile for those living at Kesteven Grange.

“Life at Kesteven Grange truly wouldn’t be the same without Trish, she is exactly what HC-One is all about.”
