Kindness is rewarded at Swallownest care homeSwallownest care home in Sheffield was delighted to reward Colleague Michael for his kind care provided to Residents at the home.

Home Manager, Amanda Fields, was pleased to present Michael with a Kindness in Care Award, following a number of nominations he received from Residents at Swallownest.

The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013.  It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones.

Month on month, record breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.

One Resident commented: “Michael is so very kind and caring. I look forward to him being on shift, nothing is too much trouble for him.”

Amanda said: “Michael is a credit to the home. He is well-thought of by his Colleagues and the Residents at Swallownest. I am pleased his hard work and kindness was recognised and it was a pleasure to present him with this award.”
