Kindness is rewarded at Mansfield care homeHC-One’s Berry Hill Park care home in Mansfield was delighted to receive a Kindness in Care Award from the company’s CEO, Justin Hutchens, to highlight the kind care and compassion provided to Residents by the team.

The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013.  It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones. Month on month, record breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.

Justin nominated the team at Berry Hill Park for the award after receiving glowing feedback from a Resident’s son, who praised staff at the home for the kind care provided to his mother.

The award was presented to the team, as the Relative’s kind words of praise were shared with staff.

Sally Tebbett, Home Manager at Berry Hill Park, said: “At HC-One, we ensure that our teams go the extra mile for each and every Resident and their loved ones. We were delighted to receive a Kindness in Care Award in recognition of all of our hard work at the home.”

HC-One Managing Director, Liz Whyte, said: “The Kindness in Care Awards programme is about recognising and celebrating colleagues who demonstrate the kindest care and the best practice that we can all learn from, and Berry Hill Park is a prime example of this.”

“Each and every day, HC-One staff do incredible work, and make such a difference to the lives of Residents living in our homes. It is great to work with such inspirational, caring and kind people.”
