The Beeches care home in Doncaster is celebrating after Colleagues at the home were presented awards for their acts of kindness in the home.
Emma Waite and Vicky Webb were nominated for their awards by their Home Manager, Lauren, after Residents expressed their appreciation for the ladies’ efforts towards them in the home.
Residents June, Joan, Nellie and Janet told Lauren that the two ladies deserved recognition for their kindness, as they often give up their days off to take the Residents out or join in with their activities.
The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013. It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones. Month on month, record breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.
The awards were presented to Emma and Vicky at the home, with many Residents and Colleagues cheering as their certificates were handed over.
Lauren Wilde, Home Manager at The Beeches, said: “I am so proud of Emma and Vicky. They have continued to go above and beyond for our Residents, and they do it because they want to see the smiles on their faces. These ladies are exactly what HC-One is all about.”
