Priory Mews care home, located in Dartford, is celebrating one of their members of staff receiving a ‘Kindness in Care’ award this week.
Steffanie Simmons is part of the wellbeing team at the home and was recently awarded HC-One’s ‘Kindness in Care’ award. This award was granted in recognition of Stef and all the hard work and dedication she has shown in providing the kindest care to all of our Residents. She has had an amazing impact in the home. Whilst focusing on activities for the Residents, she also brings a real lift in morale for the staff during this most difficult time.
Steffanie, who is better known as ‘Stef’ at Priory Mews, was also presented with a £25 voucher to spend at her leisure. In acceptance of the award she commented, “The job can be challenging but I love seeing the smiles on the Residents’ faces."
Deputy Home Manager Cristine Smith, pictured inset with Stefanie (right) commented, “It is so nice when one of our team members gets the recognition they so deserve. Well done Stef and thank you for all your hard work.”
