Celebrations were had at
Redesdale Court, residential and residential memory care home, in North Shields, as a very important member of staff receives a ‘Kindness in Care’ award.
Julie, the Head Chef, was awarded with a ‘Kindness in Care’ award for her continuous hard work. Julie always goes above and beyond, putting the Residents first.
Everyone knows Julie works tirelessly with good effort, always striving to achieve her very best in all the food that she prepares and serves.
As well as working hard in the kitchen, Julie is always helping out the Wellbeing Team with activities by providing tasty treats and preparing ingredients for recipes. She ensures the Residents are involved in choosing their own meals by carrying out food taster sessions and attending Resident meetings to gather their feedback.
Redesdale Court staff and Residents thank Julie for her continued efforts, and hard work.
One Resident, remarked, “Julie and the kitchen staff are always willing to provide alternative meals should I ask.”
Daniel Ridley, Care Home Manager, commented, “Julie thoroughly deserves this award for her continuous hard work and commitment to her role.”
