HC-One’s Forthbank Care Home in Stirling, is celebrating the success of two number of colleagues who received Kindness in Care Awards for the great work they deliver for Residents on a daily basis.
The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One in October 2013 to recognise the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones. Month on month, record breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.
Members of the Forthbank team, Michaela Nicol and Kirsty Matchett, were nominated by Resident Jean Marshall who commended their ongoing compassion and kindness to all at the home. In her nomination, Jean said “well done to both of you for all of your kindness to everyone”. Other Residents and relatives also shared their thanks to the pair for always going that extra mile.
HC-One Forthbank Care Home Manager, Yvonne Graham, said:
“I’m so proud of Kirsty and Michaela for achieving this award, and I know they were particularly touched as the nomination came from Jean. They both work tirelessly, with so much compassion and it is great to see their continued dedication to delivering the very best and kindest care.”
