HC-One’s Springfield House Care Home in Low Fell, Gateshead is celebrating the work of Health Care Assistant Lorraine Chenery, who has received a Kindness in Care Award for her positive and caring attitude towards her work and the Residents.
Lorraine was nominated for her Kindness in Care Award by her Colleagues, for always being positive, kind and smiling towards everyone. Recently, she hand knitted poppies for Residents and the team at Springfield House to wear for Remembrance Day.
The Residents at Springfield House were delighted that the award went to such a caring, friendly individual who is very a very popular and liked staff member.
HC-One Springfield House Senior Carer, Marlena Dedra, said:
“Lorraine is always happy, bubbly and caring, she is always helpful and really goes above and beyond for our Residents and their Relatives.
I couldn’t be happier for Lorraine, the award is well-deserved.”
