Kindness delivered at Park HouseHC-One’s Park House Care Home in Guisborough is celebrating the work of its housekeeping team, who have received Kindness in Care Awards for the commitment and compassion they have shown towards Residents on a daily basis.

The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013.  It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones. Month on month, record breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.

Under the guidance of Head Housekeeper Carol Goldsbrough, the team have been praised for willingness to support the home in any way they can, from jumping into the kitchen and washing pots to throwing themselves into activities and concerts for the Residents’ enjoyment. Their support of the roles of care and senior staff has been exemplary, and the Kindness in Care Award is a small way to recognise all of their hard work.

HC-One Home Manager, Alishia Calvert, said:

“The Kindness in Care Award is a small token of appreciation for the housekeeping team, as they support multiple roles and really get stuck in to life at Park House!

The housekeepers go out of their way to spend extra time with Residents while cleaning their rooms, listening to their stories and sharing in their memories. It’s the precious and meaningful moments like these that truly matter, and demonstrate our passion in delivering the kindest care to Residents.”
