Kindness delivered at Hinckley care homeHC-One’s Hinckley Park care home in Hinckley is celebrating the work of Laura Dunning, who has received a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her thoughtful and conscientious attitude.

Betty Friggi was looking for a care home for husband Peter when she reached out to Hinckley Park. Home Administrator, Laura Dunning provided Betty with all of the information she would need and helped her through every stage of the process.

Deputy Manager, Daniela Grewcock visited Betty and Peter to carry out the care assessment so that Peter could move to Hinckley Park when he left hospital. Sadly, Peter’s health deteriorated and he passed away before he was able to be discharged from hospital.

On Tuesday 18th September, Mrs Friggi visited Hinckley Park bearing a beautiful bouquet of flowers to thank Laura and Daniela for their kindness and support during a difficult time for her. Laura was grateful to Betty for her lovely gesture and thanked her for coming in to meet her in person.

Hinckley Park Home Administrator, Laura Dunning commented:

“It’s not always the big things that make a difference to someone’s life. Sometimes it’s the smaller things, like a smile, a kind word or just being there to listen in someone’s time of need can make even the worst days a little brighter.”

Hinckley Park Home Manager, Sharon Butler said:

“Laura is exactly what HC-One is all about. She always goes the extra mile for everyone and works hard for the whole community at Hinckley Park.”
