HC-One’s Hebburn Court Care Home in Hebburn is celebrating the work of Sandra Darroch, who has received a Kindness in Care Award for the innate ability she has for spreading kindness and her genuinely caring attitude whilst working with the Residents and staff.
All of the Residents at the home loved Sandra as she showed acts of kindness on a daily basis and always went that extra mile to show kindness to everyone at Hebburn Court. Unfortunately, Sandra was only at Hebburn Court for a month on a secondment so the team decided to surprise her with the Kindness in Care Award whilst she was working at Falstone Manor, another of HC-One’s care homes.
HC-One Hebburn Court Home Manager, John Lafferty, said:
“Sandra was a breath of fresh air during the time she worked with us as a Peripatetic Nurse. She is one of life’s genuinely lovely people.
I’d like to take this moment to thank her for everything she did during her time at Hebburn Court.”
