HC-One’s Bishopsgate Lodge care home in Bishop Auckland, County Durham is celebrating the work of Lesley Dagnan, who received an award for her thoughtful and conscientious actions.
The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013. It recognises the efforts of their kindest Colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones.
Lesley was nominated for a Kindness in Care award by one of her Colleagues, who commented:
“Lesley is a kind and thoughtful person who is always willing to go that extra mile for both her Colleagues and Residents. She has bought gifts for Residents out of her own money and will help out by doing shifts for others whenever she can.”
Residents said that Lesley’s award was well-deserved and thought that it was lovely that she was being recognised for her hard work and dedication to Bishopsgate Lodge.
