Kindness delivered at Beaconsfield CourtHC-One’s Beaconsfield Court Care Home in Barnard Castle, County Durham is celebrating the work of Paula Davis and Rebecca Frew, who have both received a Kindness in Care Award for their friendly and caring natures.

The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013.  It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones. Month on month, record breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.

Colleagues nominated Paula for a Kindness in Care Award, as she shows every Resident, visitor and staff member kindness. She also continuously volunteers to go on trips with the Residents and always has a smile for everyone.

Rebecca was nominated for a Kindness in Care Award due to the kind care she shows everyone at Beaconsfield Court and for always volunteering to go on days out, ensuring that as many Residents can enjoy the experience as possible.

HC-One aims to be the first-choice care provider in each of its communities for Residents looking for the very best care and support, and the employer of choice for the best, most professional, and kindest care staff, with sector leading career progression opportunities. HC-One consistently invests in staff and is currently celebrating achieving a 9.5/10 average rating on the sector’s leading care home comparison website carehome.co.uk, with Beaconsfield Court itself achieving an impressive 9.7 rating. This high rating puts HC-One homes into the very best company in the care home sector.

HC-One Beaconsfield Court’s Home Manager, Laura Langridge, said:

“Paula and Rebecca always goes the extra mile for everyone and we wanted to nominate them for this award as we felt it was the best way to honour everything that they do for our Residents, visitors and Colleagues.”
