HC-One’s Springfield House care home in Low Fell, Gateshead is celebrating the hard work and commitment of Home Manager, Kay Rudd, who was recently awarded a Kindness in Care Award.
The Kindness in Care awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013. It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of residents and their loved ones.
Kay was nominated for a Kindness in Care award for her efforts and contribution to Springfield House since she joined the team, her Colleagues and Residents watched as she was presented with her award and congratulated her on her achievement.
Kay Rudd, Home Manager at Springfield House commented: “I am so honoured to have received a Kindness in Care award. I observe so many inspiring acts of kindness on a day to day basis at Springfield House from both my Colleagues, Residents and visitors to our home.”
