HC-One’s April Park care home in Eckington, Derbyshire is celebrating the work of Colleague Lisa Holland, who received a Kindness in Care Award for her thoughtful and hard work at the home.
Lisa was rewarded for always going the extra mile in her role, demonstrating kind care to both Residents and fellow Colleagues as she always works hard at April Park.
In addition to her work at April Park, Lisa was also recognized for her commitment to the company overall as she often goes to other homes to help out when needed.
The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013. It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones. Month on month, record breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.
Lisa said: “I am so pleased. I have never been given anything like this before, so receiving this award really meant so much to me.”
