Kind words come from Wiltshire homeAn idea to help boost morale within the Colleague teams at Market Lavington care home spread a bit of good feeling and happiness recently!

Two baskets were placed on a table. In one were the names of all staff who work at the home, folded so you could not see who you were choosing.

The idea being, a slip of paper is picked at random from the first basket, some kind words about the name on that paper are written down, the paper is then folded and placed in basket number two.

At the end of each day Wellbeing Coordinator, Riaz, would take all the slips and print them out and place them on the wall!

The project took place over roughly a month and so far there has been some great feedback from Colleagues:

“A fantastic idea”
“This is great”
“It’s nice to know what other people think of you, especially those you may not know well”

Residents thought it was a lovely idea too.

Colleague, Lyndsey Struthers, commented, “It was something different and it worked out very well. I enjoyed it.”
