Jackie and Brian, two of HC One’s Bankwood care homes lovely Relatives, sent a cheque in to the Duffield care home to be placed into the Residents fund.
The Relatives put a note with it to say that she knows the Duffield care home will obviously not be having a summer fair, possibly not even a Christmas one this year, and that she didn’t want the home to miss out on raising money for the Residents.
Jackie and Brian donated a very generous £800 to the comfort funds, as this is what the home usually raises during a fair.
All of the staff at Bankwood want to say a huge thank-you to Jackie and Brian for making the days so much brighter. It is amazing for the home to have such kind and caring Relatives who appreciate the hard work that the staff put in.
Jackie also sends the home different cakes each week, they taste delicious and everyone is always excited to see what will be sent in next.
It means so much to the homes Colleagues to know that during these difficult times there are families who think of them.
The home manager commented “thank-you Jackie and Brian for everything you do for us. We love having you as part of our family.”
