The local community of the lovely little village of Market Lavington, where HC-One’s Market Lavington care home resides, has been sending in letters of support and well wishes.
Letter have been sent to Residents at Market Lavington during the pandemic; many of them are from children of families who have also been sending in lovely drawings for Residents to admire and hang up in their rooms. The thoughtfulness of the community is overwhelming and sparked many Resident comments:
“So nice of them”
“What a wonderful gesture”
“People are so thoughtful”
Residents loved the fact that other people – many of them strangers – were thinking of them during this strange and worrying time we are all living through. “I love the drawings by the children,” one Resident had said.
Another added, “It’s so thoughtful of the people, and lovely to read their notes about how they have been coping with all of this.”
Riaz Ali, who is the Wellbeing Coordinator at Market Lavington care home, said, “It gives a lovely feeling of camaraderie – that we are ‘all in it together’, when a local community sends in well-wishes of this nature.”
