Kildrum Nursery visit The Village Care HomeA visit from the children at Kildrum Nursery left the Residents at The Village Care Home, Cumbernauld with huge smiles on their faces.

The visit from the Nursery was arranged as part of a new pilot with North Lanarkshire Council.

Both the children and the Residents had an amazing time playing music together and singing and dancing the day away. They also played various activities together throughout the day.

The Residents said that they loved having the children around, so much so that they are visiting the nursey next week. The children can’t wait for the ladies to visit.

Julie McCusker, Deputy Manager at The Village, commented:
“The visit went really well and everyone enjoyed themselves. The Residents had huge smiles on their faces, even after the children left!”

Mary Bell, a Resident, commented:
“I really enjoyed singing and dancing with the children, they were great company.”
