Six Residents from HC-One’s Kirkwood Court care home in Kenton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne enjoyed some fresh costal air in the seaside town of Tynemouth on Wednesday 11th March.
The group headed to Tynemouth where they enjoyed a stroll along the coast, soaking up the sunshine and sea breeze. Residents shared stories of trips to the beach and holidays with their families, one Resident, Mary, shared her fond memories of living in the Tynemouth area and swimming the in the sea during the summer months.
Before heading back to Kirkwood Court, the group enjoyed a cup of coffee with a beautiful sea view, Residents said it was the perfect end to a perfect day.
