Three Residents from HC-One’s Summerhill care home in Kendal enjoyed a visit to their local town centre for some retail therapy.
The sun was shining as the ladies headed into Kendal town centre where they browsed the shops and strolled through the market stalls before heading to one of their favourite local coffee shops for a warm beverage.
A great time was had by all, the ladies said it brought back many happy memories of popping to the shops and enjoying a nice day in the sunshine with friends, Mavis also commented that her hot chocolate was the best she has ever tasted.
Summerhill Home Manager, Kathleen Dean said: “Even the little things can make a big difference, little trips out like this are so important for Residents and I am so pleased the ladies enjoyed their day.”
