Residents at HC-One’s Summerhill care home in Kendal were invited to participate in an art installation being fitted alongside a local river.
Lana from Love Arts visited the Residents at Summerhill to listen to their stories and memories of the river Kent. The Residents recorded some of their memories which will be played at the art installation so that the public can listen to them as they walk alongside the river.
One Resident reminisced: “I remember my father rowing over the river to get to school.”
