Jaws and Claws visit Grosvenor ParkResidents at HC-One’s Grosvenor Park were delighted as they welcomed Phil, a representative from organisation Jaws and Claws, who brought along a variety of exciting animals.

Residents enjoyed holding the various animals, which included some Madagascan hissing cockroaches, stick insects, giant African land snails and a milk snake.

Everyone enjoyed learning many facts about these wonderful animals, getting closer to each one and comparing the creatures.

A great atmosphere was had in the lounge as everyone shared their excitement in seeing these animals, some choosing to simply watch, whilst others enjoyed holding them.

Jackie O’Callaghan, home manager, commented: “Everyone has had such a lovely afternoon learning about these wonderful animals. We are so glad Jaws and Claws visited the home and look forward to seeing them again.”
