Residents, visitors and members of the care team at HC-One’s Needham Court care home in Jarrow were transported back in time with a 60’s and 70’s themed party.
Needham Court invited friends, family and fellow local care homes to attend their party dedicated to the 60’s and 70’s eras. Everyone was encouraged to dress in ‘groovy’ outfits that were popular in both eras and the home was beautifully decorated with colourful balloons and banners.
Residents and guests were treated to a fun-filled day with an afternoon tea, stalls and entertainment, a great time was had by all and Residents commented that they loved the theme of the day.
Needham Court Home Manager, Joann Mills said: “Thank you to my Colleagues, Marie and Michelle, for organising such a wonderful event. It was great to see so many people having a good time together.”
