HC-One’s Needham Court care home in Jarrow organised a charity event at South Shields Football Club to raise money for the Residents Comfort Fund.
On Saturday 6th April, the team from Needham Court welcomed, friends, family and members of the local community to a fun-filled event. A children’s tombola, tombola, a raffle with prizes generously donated from local people and businesses, there was also a bouncy castle, face painter, buffet and stocks which members of the team went in and received wet sponges to the face.
Some Residents also attended the event, they were all amazed at all of the hard work that the team had put in to organise such a great event. Their hard work paid off and they managed to raise an amazing sum of £1078.
Needham Court Home Manager, Joanne Mills said: “What an amazing achievement, I would like to thank the team for putting together such an outstanding event. We were all overwhelmed and grateful for the support we received and the money will go towards fulfilling our Residents wishes.”
