Five Residents from HC-One’s Jack Dormand Care Home in Peterlee, County Durham enjoy a trip in the sunshine to Whitby for fish and chips.
Jean Lowery, Bella Holmes, Martin Hall, Hazel Callan, Lilley Ellison and Donna Price, Wellbeing Co-Ordinator at Jack Dormand, took advantage of the beautiful weather we’ve been having recently with a trip to Whitby.
Residents had their heart set on a fish and chip dinner from the famous Magpie restaurant, Jean Lowery commented:
“It was such a lovely day, thank you so much for taking us for fish and chips, they were beautiful!”
Everyone enjoyed a stroll along the sea front to let their food go down before enjoying an ice-cream on the pier.
Poor Jean had a bit of a scuffle with a massive seagull who pinched her ice cream which everyone found really funny before treating her to another.
A great day was had by all.
