This week staff have been working hard to create a lovely festive feeling throughout
Hyde nursing and nursing memory care home, in Greater Manchester.
Residents have enjoyed helping to set the nativity up in the home’s pavilion communal area for all visitors to enjoy and to celebrate their faith this Christmas.
Home Manager Irina Babici, Wellbeing Coordinator Adam Perkins and Head Housekeeper Amy Addison have been very busy going on shopping trips and arranging for the Christmas tree; buying new decorations for the Residents to enjoy and to help decorate throughout the home.
Dot, who lives at the home, commented, “I cannot believe this is a real Christmas Tree! So, so beautiful!”
Everyone has loved the decorations and helping to set up the nativity. The Christmas Carols played in the background made everyone feel festive.
Resident Mary remarked, “Christmas is the best!”
Irina added, “May I take this opportunity to say thank you to our staff that donated so many Christmas items. Also, a big thank you to Amy, her hard work, dedication and cheerful mood helped include more Residents that we ever thought, in making Hyde a homely place.”
