HC-One’s Fullarton care home in Irvine, Aryshire has teamed up with a local primary school for a new garden project from Fullarton Community Association.
Residents will now be visiting the home’s section of the community garden on a daily basis to enjoy some light gardening while building friendships in the local community with fellow gardeners, which will include children from the local primary school.
The fresh air and soil between their fingers has had a positive impact on the wellbeing of Residents at Fullarton, one Resident, Tom said that it’s fantastic to be outdoors every day and get to see lots of new and friendly faces.
