Residents at HC-One’s Cradlehall care home in Inverness enjoyed an adapted Remembrance Day service this year due to the coronavirus, taking part in arts and crafts sessions to create some poppy displays.
Colleagues at Cradlehall worked together with Residents to create meaningful art work relating to Remembrance Sunday and Remembrance Day on the 11th November. The beautiful pieces of art all took pride of place in the home’s reception area, with Residents being served a delicious afternoon tea which was provided by the homes catering team, afterwards.
Later in the week on the 13th November, Residents showed our care team just how much they appreciated the kind care provided at Cradlehall by celebrating World Kindness Day with a chocolate treat for staff and singing their version of " We Love You" on each unit, an afternoon which was enjoyed by all.
Cradlehall care home Manager Fiona Sutherland said: “Talking about our lives ' In Days Gone By' reinforces our Residents achievements and the Acts of Kindness makes everyone feel special.”
