Inverness care home celebrates Care Home Open DayCouncillor Duncan Macpherson joined HC-One’s Cradlehall care home Inverness for a day filled with creativity and art to celebrate the seventh annual Care Home Open Day.

Care Home Open Day is a national event that gives local people the opportunity to learn more about the care services at the heart of their community.

This year’s theme was ‘Celebrating Art in Care,’ with HC-One launching a national Art Competition to encourage, Residents, their loved ones, colleagues and neighbours to unleash their creativity and design their own masterpiece.

Friends, family, volunteers and members of the local community came together with Residents and members of the team at Cradlehall to enjoy music, dancing and admiring the wonderful art submitted in the home’s Art Competition.

Cradlehall Home Manager, Lynn Darge said: “Care Home Open Day is always a high-anticipated event in our home’s calendar. Residents enjoy welcome some new and familiar faces for a day of celebrations and laughter.

“Thank you to everyone who came along to Cradlehall and helped make such a memorable day for all.”
