HC-One’s Waterside care home in Tipton celebrated International Flower Day with Residents making beautiful bouquets and flower displays for loved ones.
International Flower Day (IFD) is held annually on the 19th January. The day is about spreading happiness to others by means of a simple flower! IFD hopes to inspire and engender positive social change.
The day is about encouraging us to enrich the lives of others, be they family, friends or strangers, which Residents at Waterside embraced as they gifted flower displays to their loved ones and members of the care team.
Roy, a Resident at Waterside commented that he was not given his daughter, Debbie a gift like this a long time as he is unable to go to the shops, so being able to present her with flowers was very special.
