Intergenerational visits delight at Penrith care homeStudents from Ullswater Community College visited HC-One’s Croft Avenue care home in Penrith in March to spend some quality time with the Residents.

Health and Social Care students from Ullswater Community College have been spending time with Residents at Croft Avenue, during their visits the young people often take part in activities and spend time chatting with the Residents.

The visits have become a highlight of the day for both Residents and the students who have started forming bonds and sharing interesting stories and memories from their lives.

Croft Avenue Home Manager, Teresa Mcguiness said: “Intergenerational sessions like these are so important and a significant impact on the wellbeing of our Residents, I would like to thank the wonderful students from Ullswater Community College for taking the time to visit our home.”
