Intergenerational fun with Kidslingo at Eastleigh care homeA new intergenerational educational scheme where HC-One's Chandlers Ford care home Residents and children from the local community learn French or Spanish together. It aims to improve emotional and physical wellbeing for everyone and encourages interaction between generations by using an exciting mixture of music, games, Makaton, role-play, drama and storytelling.

It isn’t just about learning a new language – it’s also about learning through the generations and about caring for each other, whatever your age. 

Award winning Kidslingo, provider of fun and engaging Spanish lessons to children ages from birth to 11 years, has launched its first intergenerational programme in Chandlers Ford to bring the two generations together.

The Benefits:
Intergenerational communication.
Increased ability to problem solve for both age groups.
Structural brain improvement. 
Emotional and physical improvement.

The Sessions:
The sessions will run once a month during term time and last for 40 minutes.
They will encourage interaction between the generations by using an exciting mixture of music, games, Makaton, role-play, drama and storytelling.
